Iggy Azalea bit the dust, and it was all caught on video. The sexy rapper tumbled off the stage during an MTV Video Music Awards benefit concert on Aug. 22.
Iggy Azalea Falls Off Stage — Performance Mishap At 2014 VMA Pre-Party
Iggy, 24, fell off the stage Friday night, while performing her hit “Fancy” at The Avalon in Los Angeles, California. It’s unclear if she was injured, but Iggy poked fun at herself on Instagram, shortly thereafter.
Not only did she post a video of her falling, but she also made light of the situation.

After falling, security guards pulled Iggy back onto the stage, and she continued singing her chart-topping single while barely missing a beat, TMZ reports.
Afterward, Iggy allegedly told the crowd she felt “very blessed” that she did not break her legs.

Iggy is up for seven awards at the MTV VMAs, airing live on Aug. 24.
Oddly enough, this isn’t the first “tragedy” to strike the 2014 VMAs. Earlier today, it was reported that a large snake bit one of Nicki Minaj’s backup dancers during a performance rehearsal for “Anaconda.”
Hopefully, the actual awards show will go a bit more smoothly. But we definitely love the fact that Iggy doesn’t take herself too seriously.
